Last weekend and early this week the Museum of Natural History kept getting blocked off for a movie that was being filmed. Subsequently, the entire street (Central Park West Ave) for a two block length was also blocked off. The museum is on CPW between 79th and 81st and the entrance to the park that I take to get the HAIR at the Delacourte is at 81st so after seeing the lights, craft services and trailers for days, we finally found out they were filming "Night at the Museum 2" with Ben Stiller.
Here is a bad picture since it was night time and there was a huge light pointing north towards us. You could see a lot more in real life. All the trees are illuminated because they set up lights throughout the grounds by all the tree trunks. It looked really cool. There was a NYPD van parked on the street to make sure no one would trespass.

Tuesday was their last night of shooting. And of course on Thursday I found out that Ben Stiller and Amy Adams had come to the show Wednesday evening (there were other people too, but they're the only ones I really know). Apparently they were in Central Park Wednesday afternoon just hanging out and they heard the understudy rehearsals going on and decided they wanted to see the show. I miss all the good stuff!

You sure do miss the big stuff. Calls at 7:30 AM, cars being frontended, visits to the emergency room! You lead such a boring life in NY. Hugs from Jonathon! What more could a girl ask for!?
