Last night I finally had dinner with Stacie, who is my second cousin or first cousin once removed, I'm not sure which...We have the same great-grandparents, Maw and Paw, from the Ledger side of our families.
She moved to NYC in January and we've bene trying to find time in our schedules to get together since we have never actually met. We went to my favorite restuarant, Chelsea Grill in Hell's Kitchen and had a lovely evening. She had a southern accent which totally threw me off! I knew she grew up in North Carolina, so it shouldn't have been a surprise, but no one else in the family does, so I didn't expect it. She is very nice and we plan to do brunch sometime soon.
