Dad, Barb and Megan came out to NYC for a visit over the 4th of July weekend. Friday we took the Statue Island Ferry, toured Wall Street, Ground Zero, and then headed back uptown for a tour of the Delacorte. That night they came and saw Twelfth Night and Megan came out for drinks with me and the rest of the cast and crew after. I even introduced her to Annie who hugged her. She was quite excited, lol.
Saturday we saw the matinee of HAIR and had a fabulous time. I got quite the teased head of hair thanks to one of the cast members, Will. After the show we made our way down to Chelsea Piers to watch the fireworks. We met Stacie, our second cousin on dad's side, downtown for dinner and then camped out on the pier for the show. We ad a great view and could see all six barges that Macy's used to shoot the fireworks off of on the river.
